Greater Des Moines Major Venues
Iowa Events Center Located in the center of Downtown Des Moines, the Iowa Events Center is comprised of Hy-Vee Hall, Wells Fargo Arena and the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center and connected through four miles of climate-controlled skywalks.The convention center, with 27 meeting rooms and the state's largest ballroom (over 28,000 sq ft), is directly joined to Hy-Vee Hall, and connected by skywalk to Wells Fargo Arena, providing maximum flexibility for events and a total of 37 meeting rooms.
The Iowa State Fairgrounds, home to the world-famous Iowa State Fair, has more than a dozen major building and exhibit facilities for year-round meetings. Its location is convenient too - just 10 minutes from Downtown Des Moines.
