GDMCVB Services when selecting a destination/city
- Assistance identifying facilities that will accommodate your event
- Proposal presentation summarizing how your event will be accommodated in Greater Des Moines offered in person, electronically and/or hard copy
- Coordination of site visit to city and facilities

GDMCVB Services to groups that have chosen Des Moines

- Assistance planning pre-post convention and/or event, spouse programs and/or children's activities

Registration Assistance
- For every 100 room nights utilized, receive four hours of complimentary registration assistance. Additional hours are available at a rate of $10 per hour with a four hour minimum. This service is available pre- and post-convention.
- Name Badges
- Nine laptops with Dymo printers available for on-site registration
- Pre-registered name badges are available (minimal fee)
Centralized Housing
- Centralized Housing allows delegates to register online
- Available to groups that use three or more hotels with a minimum of 400 rooms on peak night
- No charge to organization or attendee
Media Support
- Receive a list of Central Iowa media contacts
- Assistance with press release requires a minimum two week notice
Exhibitor Support
- Welcome letters to exhibitors on-site or prior from Greater Des Moines CVB President/CEO, Greg Edwards
- List of restaurants and private dining options for exhibitors to entertain clients
- Access to Greater Des Moines' private dining clubs for exhibitors to entertain clients
Event Product Support
- Eight 8'X10' tents for outdoor events (minimal fee)
- Three- and five-gallon water coolers
Motorcoach Groups
- Itinerary development including routing
- Storybook Des Moines, publication about Greater Des Moines, for each guest on your tour
- Greeting service to meet your coach
- Iowa's Living Roadways for tour escorts - publication profiling plants in Iowa
